Does anyone know if the minibus service which normally operates several times a day from Bourgas to Varna (and back) runs in the same way on Sundays?
Also, do they all stop at Bourgas airport?

Thanks.

I aren't 100% certain but I'm sure they do. now wether they run the same service in the winter months as the summer I dont know, but I haven't heard that its any different. The mini-buses will stop anywhere enroute, just ask the driver to stop.

Well thanks for that - I hadn't even considered the summer / winter aspect. This post was due to someone who wants to come to Varna next month and happens to be booked on Sunday flights, so it wouldn't be a case of them wanting to be taken to the airport (except when rreturning home to UK) So unless the minibuses regularly stop at the airport anyway, these people would need to get into Bourgas itself and then back in the same direction again for Varna, which seems like a lot of unnecessary hassle and wasted time and money.

Still open to other info, thanks all

Hi houseman, have a look at this topic (the one your question really belongs on!):

http://www.mybulgaria.info/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=11652&start=7

We put minibus varna burgas into the Search facility... there were other results too which might give further information?

Thanks MOD, I didn't look back as far as May 2006 - I did check, honest, but didn't do an actual search.

The 2006 posts did not help, unfortunately - nobody was sure about any aspect of the subject! Crying or Very sad

More input welcome, folks!

I was ın Burgas last week and the bus statıon was stıll ın busın ess. T&he great thıng about thıs area ıs that the economy ıs NOT dependent on Tourısm. Bothj Burgas and Varna are normal towns wıth normal people doıng normal thıngs.

I dıd not specıfıcally check on the mınıbus servbıce (MIKROBUS na Bulgarskı) but I am sure that the servıce wıll be the same as ın the summer.

Hi Scot,
I am interested in this too. Is there a schedule available online or anything.
What about the larger coach services. Minbuses area a bit hair- raising. Thanks
