Bourgas is 75 km away, the airport is 78 km away and at the distance of 30 km you find Tsarevo and the nearest beach. The history of the village originates from the Antiquity and maybe even from the early middle Ages. This fact is supported by the traces from an old Roman road, mound necropolises, two treasures of colonial bronze coins of Byzia and many other finds.
ARCHITECTURE
The one-storey half built in the ground, two-room house is very typical for the region. What is peculiar for the architectural design of such a house is that the hearth premise takes up the front part of the house. The main entrance leads directly to the house. That type of house cannot be seen very often.Of the old houses only two are preserved today. They are completely restored both inside and outside. The rest of the houses are built in modern Bulgarian style, with outside staircases. Here one can also see a Thracian necropolis, two antique settlements, traces from metallurgy and the “Holy 40 martyrs” church (19 th century). The area is well known for its magnificent natural sights, vivid folklore traditions archeological and cultural monuments left from ancient times. 25km is the distance to the closest coastal town – Tsarevo.

• “Boje ime” (God’s name) – an old chapel located within the village cemetery
• “St. George” Chapel – located west of the village within the village cemetery
• “Holy Mother of God” – a restored chapel located just 2-3 km east of the village
• “Holy Trinity” – ruins of an old monastery, located approximately 5-6 km north of the village in the Kotvenite place and built over a cave
• “St. Iliya” – south of the village
