Hi guys , back on again after a long absence.
After building a house in BG I have finally sold it ( keeping main residence) .
The question is to other sellers . Which is the best way to bring money home . I know 10,000 euros can be brought home on ur person but can you bring more , if you declare it? AND show paper regarding sale of house.
My other question is ...
Why don’t sellers just do bank transfer to their bank in the Uk ?
Any help greatly apppreciated . N,

Glad you finally sold your property. You can do a bank transfer but you must declare where the money came from, also you will need to tell the UK tax office as you might have to pay tax on it.

Easier if your driving, just hide it in the boot in a holdall..sometimes they ask you to open the boot, but its a 2 second look, not a search..and at least you have proof of it, better than paying the greedy UK govt some of it..which in my opinion they have no right to, its a foreign investment and nothing to do with the UK, however you may have to pay some to BG, if the owners declares where their money went..good luck.
